Saroni and its VEG-OIL Division serve primarily Northern & Central California and Hawaii, with deliveries to BAKERS, CANNERS, CANDY MAKERS and a wide variety of other finished-goods manufacturers who use quality, branded food commodities and value added ingredients for production.
We warehouse a broad line of stock in our 75,000 sq.ft. Oakland California facility, and make deliveries as follows:
- daily in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area
- regularly in the outer lying coverage areas
- using the Port of Oakland for overseas shipments.
We also act on our customers behalf for sourcing food ingredients for operations throughout the United States.
Ingredients are all we do. We believe ourselves to be purchasing savvy, staying abreast of market dynamics for the benefit of our customers. Our vendors respect Saroni's ability to provide reliable service, as we respect our vendors for their understanding and support of Saroni's function. The Company provides next-day, one-stop shop service, while ensuring customers receive quality ingredients at competitive prices.
Our broad line of warehoused products includes: FLOURS, OILS, STARCHES, SUGARS in addition to Chocolates, Colors and Flavors, Food Chemicals, Fruit and other Fillings, Specialty Grains, Leavening Agents, Milk and other Dairy items, Nuts, Olive Oils, Salts, Shortenings, Soy and Spices, and a wide assortment of Sweeteners. We can provide other ingredients, as well, on a special order basis.
In Addition to providing Packaged Oils and Shortenings through Saroni, our VEG-OIL Division purchases and arranges for delivery of BULK OILS, either in rail cars or by tanker trucks to customer silos throughout the country.
